This design embraces asymmetry, irregularity, and the handmade. Hennie de Swardt needed a logo that reflected the traditional Japanese philosophy (Wabi Sabi) and aesthetic that finds beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and simplicity while maintaining a premium, artisan feel.
The design combines clean typography with a simple initial-inspired icon, creating a modern identity that feels both approachable and distinctive. A carefully selected colour palette reinforces the connection to Wabi Sabi while ensuring the logo remains versatile across signage, packaging and digital media.
The result is a timeless brand identity that captures the personality of the business and provides a strong foundation for future marketing and brand growth.

Sintech required a series of brochures and promotional flyers to showcase its extensive range of industrial, earthmoving and mining equipment at the Electra Mining exhibition. The challenge was to present a large portfolio of specialised products in a clear, engaging and professional format that would capture attention in a highly competitive exhibition environment.
The brief was to design a compelling
The brief was to design a compelling book cover for Assassin's Vengeance, a military thriller by Barry Stranack. Drawing on the author's own experiences serving in elite military units - including the Rhodesian Light Infantry, the Selous Scouts and the Congo's infamous 'Wild Geese' - the cover needed to capture the novel's intense themes of covert operations, betrayal, revenge and survival, while appealing to readers of action-packed military fiction.
